The park

Castle ground, kept quiet

A warm Welsh welcome awaits at this multi award winning park. Pencelli is situated four miles east of the historic market town of Brecon, on the border of Mid and South Wales. It is an ideal place for walking, cycling, mountain biking, pony trekking, canoeing the adjoining canal and bird watching, and for doing none of those things at all.

Pencelli Castle stands on the site of a medieval castle, with grounds laid out for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents. The park sits at the edge of the village, within walking distance of the Brecon Beacons’ highest peaks. The Taff Cycle Trail passes the entrance, the Cardiff to Abergavenny bus does too, and the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal borders the camping field.
